Dry Basement

Storms last night, storms off and on all day today, and not a drop of water in the basement. Wow. Is it fixed?

I don't want to burst your bubble but what is probably happening is the source of the major water is now redirected.

The means of which it entered the house still exists so a major storm with many inches of water probably would impact it again.

The sump pump drainage though seems to be the major culprit on the driveway side. What about near the trains?

It's hard to say, since the ground has been slowly drying out, and we're not getting 3 inches of rain every week. But, there's no water anywhere. One thing that' different is when we're getting rain, the dehumidifier will start kicking on more frequently in the hours before water started coming in. During the rain thurs and friday, it hardly came on at all, so less rainwater was getting near the foundation. I'm not expecting a total cure, but hey, it's progress.
