Sealing the deal

With really cold weather on the way, I decided this past weekend was a good time to check all the insulation and redo the weatherstripping around the doors. I scraped off the crappy foam adhesive stuff and replaced it with the proper 3-piece type that installs around the frame and seals the door with rubber gaskets. It's all nice and toasty now. I knew it was making a difference this morning...when I went to put on my work shoes that were left by the back door all weekend, it wasn't like putting my feet into a bag of frozen peas. And the furnace seems to kick on a little less often, but that's probably wishful thinking.
