Last year I bought plastic watering tools...sprayers, hose connectors, etc. I had the water shut off all winter, so thought they would be fine. Last night, I found the hard way that they had all broken over the winter. Lesson: they make metal ones for a reason.
My seedlings for the veggie garden also didn't make it. They wilted within a couple days of planting outdoors. Dunno, I didn't have this issue last year. I'm not sure what the lesson is here...so, off to buy some starter plants as well.
